It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Maria Pasqualina Liliana Pezzola also known as “Lina” and lovingly called “Noni”, at age 95, on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, in Toronto, Ontario. Predeceased by her husband Dandolo Lelli. Cherished mother of Alejandro (Elisa) and Ana (Miguel). Noni is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her beloved grandchildren Damian, Pamela (Sebastian), Alexandra, Gabriel, Adrian, Julian and great-grandchildren, Fiorella and Alessandro.

Lina will always be remembered for her love of family and friends, her welcoming warmth and her ever-present wit. The third of four children, predeceased by her brothers Sante and Giuseppe, Lina leaves behind her sister Ivana. Lina's treasured nieces and nephews will always be in her heart.

Lina, faced with various life challenges, remained strong and determined to make life better for her family. Born in Fontespina, Marche, Italy, ultimately making Buenos Aires, Argentina and Toronto, Canada home too.

When her health began to decline and she needed more support than her family could provide, she became a resident at Downsview Long Term Care. Our family is grateful to the nurses, doctors, personal support workers and all the staff who took good care of our Lina for the past three years.

Lina has filled us with good examples of how life should be lived: with love, hard work, generosity of heart and acceptance. She is part of us forever.

Noni, may you be in the embrace of our Lord, and may family and friends surround you.
