We are sad to announce the passing of Maria Diniz Pereira, wife to Francisco Rodrigues Pereira (predeceased), mother to Maria (Chris) and Frank (Anna) and grandmother to Kristina (Kevin), Jessica (Andrew), Veronica and Jonathan. She will be dearly missed by her children, grandchildren and step-grandchildren Christina and Matthew (Nicole) as well as her great-grandchildren Olivia and Charlie and so many other close family and friends both in Terceira and in Canada. We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the Palliative Care Team of the Niagara Region for their support. For all of us that shared in her life journey, her light will forever shine in our hearts, until we meet again.
