It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our mother Maria on June 26 2025. She passed peacefully in her home surrounded by her family at her side.
She now joins her husband George who passed in December 2013, her Mother Eleni and her Father Apostoli.
She will be remembered by her children Polexeni, Eleni (Labi), Ted (Vangie), her grandchildren Christine (Mike) ,Vanessa (Robert), Jimmy (Becky), Vicky (Lefty) and Johny .(Ekzel) and by her great grandchildren Kelis, Amaya ,Pree Livia, Louka, Eleni, Christos and Alexandros.
Maria was born in Kefalonia Greece and immigrated with her husband and two children to Canada in 1964 by ship and settled in Toronto. Maria and her husband worked hard at the University of Toronto and saved to buy their first home where they raised their 3 children and watched their family grow to include 7 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren.
