It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Margarete who passed away at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Ranko Kostich. Devoted mother of Milos and his wife, Natasa. Cherished grandma of Alexandra and the late Tanya. Margarete will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by all of her family and friends. The family wants to thank the caregivers and staff at Bayview Extendicare for their exemplary care and compassion. A visitation will take place at the York Funeral Centre (160 Beecroft Road, Toronto, 416-221-3404) on Monday, September 24, 2018 from 7-9 p.m. and funeral service on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 11 a.m. Burial to follow at the York Cemetery. Milos,
My condolences on the passing of your Mom. I have many happy memories spending time with her and your family at Balm Beach and of course on Briar Hill. She had a very fulfilling life and raised a great son and friend to me. We will be thinking of you and your family as you heal from her loss.

To Milos and the Kostich family.

We are truly sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. We remember fondly how Margarete and your dad Ranko welcomed us the neighbourhood when we first moved in. Throughout the years on Briar Hill we had many pleasant conversations with Margarete on your family's front porch.

She will be sadly missed!
