It is with sad hearts we announce the passing of Margaret Mary Donohue at the age of 90, surrounded by her loving family on Monday March 27, 2023. Beloved wife of the late Richard (Martin) of 63 years. Loving mother of Bill (Irene), Margaret (Andre), Mary Ann (Laszlo), Theresa (Steve), Paul and Joanne (Bob). Wonderful grandmother of Brandon (Anna), Tina (Nick), Brendan (Britt), Cailin (Ben), Justin (Victoria), Dan (Fiona), Ashley (Matt), Wesley and Kaleigh and great-grandmother of Adelaide, Olive, Mae, Owen, Parker, Scarlett, Hunter and Harrison. Predeceased by her siblings Alma, Bud, Paul, Ev, Jack and Jerry. Special thanks to Dr. Tim Panowyk, and all the staff at Lakeridge Health Cancer Centre, Palliative Unit and the Support Care, along with VHA Home Health Care for all their care, kindness and compassion. A Celebration of Margaret’s Life will take place on Wednesday April 5, 2023 at THORNTON FUNERAL CENTRE (1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, 905-579-6787) from 11am – 1pm, with speeches at 12:30pm. A private interment will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Lakeridge Health – Palliative Unit.
