In memory of

Margaret Eileen Wilcox

May 25, 1933 -  March 30, 2017

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our blessed mother.

It is difficult to write about someone so influential in your life with such a heavy heart and sense of loss; one doesn't know how to capture the true meaning of one person's existence in another's during a period where inner grief takes over verbal expression. Dear mother, in simple words, we will try.

Thank you for the gift of caring and accepting; in appreciating what you have in life.

Thank you for the gift of having an opinion; to freely say what we believe.

Thank you for your gift of beauty and grace; the cruelty of cancer never took that away.

Thank you for your gift of family that cares for us and gives us unconditional love.

Thank you for your gift of home; for delicious food, a warm bed and place to be.

Thank you for your gift of humour; life's experiences are just a journey in learning.

Thank you for the gift of giving; there is always room for one more chair at the table.

Thank you for your gift of Dad; your marriage was truly equal, "he looks after me and I look after him".

Thank you God for the gift of our mother, Margaret. Please keep her close. She is an angel and will be so deeply missed.

With love and tenderness,

Bobbie and Mike
