In memory of

Margaret Chevalier

February 19, 1924 -  July 3, 2019

It is with a sad heart that Ross and I inform you of the passing of our mother Margaret McCall Chevalier. She died peacefully in her sleep with her family on Wednesday, July 3, 2019. Our Mom always said how lucky she was to have lived a full life. When cancer came when she was 80, she said I'm not ready and beat it. She was a stubborn, wonderful woman who cared deeply for her children (Ross and Jennifer) and her grandchildren (Sabrina, Dagny, Alex, Zachary). Mom was so very happy that she got to see all her grandchildren grow into amazing adults. We know Mom is in a happier place now, with no pain. She is now reunited with her loving husband Denis and her many sisters and brothers. Mom will be deeply missed.
As many of you know, our mom liked to express herself and wear a variety of colours, never one to look dull. With that in mind, we want to celebrate her life and ask that you wear a colour of choice or traditional attire.

Auntie Margaret was a strong, loving and fiercely independent woman with a wonderful sense of humour. She loved and was loved so much. I was so lucky to have had this amazing woman as a loving Auntie and Godmother. My Auntie Margaret has always been there for me, from when I was a young child to my senior years. I will miss her tremendously but will cherish 65 years of memories in my heart forever. Margaret was a dear, loving friend and 'sister' to my mother Joyce James; they shared a lifetime of wonderful times together.

Barbara and I regret that we will not be able to be in Ontario to be with you. Aunt Margaret lived a good long life that she enjoyed. We will always remember the Christmas get togethers at her home with all the wonderful food and the many family members. Her twin sister I am sure will be at heaven's gates to welcome her and there will be one heck of a reunion. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
