In memory of

Margaret Alice Freeman

1925 - 2023

Passed suddenly at age 98 in the Residence she so enjoyed.

Mom was very loving, cheerful, creative, and active in her community throughout her life. Predeceased by her beloved husband of 66 years, she will be dearly missed by her family and is survived by her 2 daughters, 3 grandchildren, as well as 4 great grandchildren.

Mom lived her life by these words:
“Better by far you should forget and smile than that you should remember and be sad.”

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.

Margaret was a beautiful person - caring, creative, good-natured, intelligent and fun. We spent many happy hours together chatting, watching "Murder She Wrote", conquering crossword puzzles and very occasionally sipping a thimble-sized serving of sherry! Rest in peace dear Margaret, with your beloved Doug.

I remember driving your Mom to the hospital to visit your Dad and she told me a few stories about the neighbourhood we drove through on the way.
I love this picture you chose of her holding a gorgeous bouquet. Everything matches in a very elegant way that reflects who she was as a person.
