In memory of

Marco Carretero Ovalle

June 23, 1965 -  August 16, 2021

In loving memory of truly, one of the best men ever put on this earth.
Marco was a loving husband, model father, loving Tio, hard-working tradesman and mentor, and will be forever missed by his wife Javiera, his children David, Chris and Darryl, his grandchildren Noah, Sienna, Liam, and Brayden, his daughter-in-laws Vanessa and Jimena and anyone else lucky enough to know, work with, or meet him.

He had a tremendous passion for the outdoors, from camping to fishing, or simply sitting around a fire; as long as he was surrounded by family and friends. He was unwavering when it came to helping others. To him, helping others was always a priority and one would never win that argument against him.
His big heart, jolly personality, and a smile that wouldn't quit, touched the lives of so many people.

His Legacy is a strong one, and one that will live on forever through his children and grandchildren.

To have met Marco, was to love Marco.

The day I met Marco was probably one of the best days that I had in Toronto but I first moved he made me feel welcome and introduce me to his family. After I got to know him really well he became like a father to me any time I needed advice he was there he helped me a lot especially with me staying in Canada by getting my permanent residency. I will mess and calling me names in Spanish And that big laugh of Marcos. Rest in peace brother

It is hard to find the words to express how heartbreaking this is for the family. Even harder yet to describe the positive impact Marco had on all our lives. He will live forever in our memories, in our hearts, and how we carry ourselves with kindness in his honor. With unwavering love, support, and condolences.

Marco's life story is one that can't really be put into words. He never gloated, and never had to announce things to anyone; and that's because he didn't have to. His personality, character, and actions did all the speaking that needed to be said.
His actual legacy, are all the things he left behind and which are instilled within his family and his friends.
Generosity, unity, love, care, friendship, and family are probably the best words to describe what was a priority for him. His teachings have become so visible in his 3 boys, and already being passed down to his 4 grandchildren.
THAT'S HIS POWER, HIS MAGIC, HIS LEGACY.
