It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Marcel Dumont.

Marcel passed away peacefully on October 1, 2025 surrounded by his loved ones.

He will be remembered for his kindness, sense of humour, generosity, and devotion to his family and friends.

Marcel is survived by his wife of 45 years Gabriella, his children, Jonathan (Cindy), Erica (Paul) and Elijah, his grandchildren, Isaiah, Nigel and Nyla, his siblings, Desiree and Andre and many other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday October 8, 2025 from 5-8pm at Pine Hills Cemetery & Funeral Centre located at 625 Birchmount Rd, Toronto, ON.

It is with a broken heart that l will miss my unwavering dear friend for over 40 years, especially my morning prayers and controversial news/videos.

Marcel was a loving, kind, sincere friend who was dedicated to family. He holds a special bond with everyone he encounters and maintains that friendship even if you don't connect as often; a kind and honest word is guaranteed with laughter and a memorable smile. I pray for continued strength for Gabriella, his beautiful children and grands and especially his dear sister Desiree whom he had a special bond and Andre. God decided that he wanted another Angel beside him; may his beautiful soul rest in eternal peace. Love you always Janice.🙏
