On the afternoon of Jun 2nd, 2023, Sally Manli Li passed away peacefully in the Palliative Care unit at Sunnybrook Hospital. Sally was 46 years old.

Sally was born in Taishan, Guangdong Province in China, to Ben Li and Xiu Yu in September 1976. She worked as a teacher in China and a dental assistant in Canada for one year.

She studied very hard acupuncture for three years, which she was very interested in. She passed all her acupuncture exams and was qualified to be an acupuncturist. While she was gathering all the required documents and trying to apply for the acupuncturist license, her doctor told her that her health was worsening.

Sally is a lovely lady full of compassion. She loves children and always tries her best to help people. She loves everyone in our family and always shares a healthy food menu with her family and friends. She was a devoted mother who contributed to her children, her niece and nephew.

She is survived by her husband, Jacky Lin; her daughters, Vanessa and Fiona; her parents, Ben Li and Na Yu; her sister Lilian Li, Miao Li and her brother in law Jim Guan and Guanglei Han; her nephew Leo, Junhui and her niece Kaylee.

Sally Manli Li will always live in our hearts.
