It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Małgorzata (Margaret) Faltyn, a loving wife, mom, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Margaret died peacefully at home surrounded by family on November 23, 2023 at the age of 57, after a long and courageous battle with brain cancer.

Margaret had a smile that always touched her eyes and a caring and devoted personality to family and friends alike. As a graduate of a fine arts program, she was creative. As an early childhood educator, she loved seeing her students grow. She enjoyed the sun and was happiest at the beach swimming in the ocean water.

Her legacy of love and devotion is survived by her cherished husband, Marian, who stood by her side through every trial and triumph. Married for 31 years, they lived life with laughter and love for each other and their children.

Her children, Joanna (Samuel) and Mateusz (Nina), were her pride and joy - she always reminded them how special they were. Her unconditional love and support for her children will be greatly missed. While mourning Margaret’s passing, her family finds comfort in her reunion with her father, Władysław, who predeceased her. She is lovingly remembered by her mother, Helena, her siblings, Stanisław and Dorota, and her many nieces and nephews.

Z głębokim smutkiem zawiadamiamy, że zmarła Małgorzata Faltyn, kochająca Żona, Mama, Córka, Siostra, Ciocia i Przyjaciółka. Gosia zmarła spokojnie w domu otoczona rodziną dnia 23 listopada 2023 w wieku 57 lat, po długiej i odważnej walce z rakiem mózgu.

Małgorzata była troskliwą i oddaną osobą zarówno rodzinie, jak i przyjaciołom. Jako absolwentka studiów artystycznych wykazała się kreatywnością. Jako nauczycielka małych dzieci uwielbiała patrzeć, jak jej uczniowie dorastają. Cieszyła się słońcem, a najszczęśliwsza była na plaży, pływając w wodzie oceanu.

Jej miłość i oddanie przetrwało dzięki ukochanemu mężowi Marianowi; małżeństwo od 31 lat, żyli ze śmiechem i miłością do siebie i swoich dzieci.

Jej dzieci, Joanna (Samuel) i Mateusz (Nina), były jej dumą i radością. Będzie nam bardzo brakować jej bezwarunkowej miłości i wsparcia dla dzieci. Opłakując śmierć Małgorzaty, jej rodzina znajduje pocieszenie w ponownym spotkaniu z ojcem, Władysławem, który zmarł przed nią. Z miłością wspominają ją matka Helena, rodzeństwo Stanisław i Dorota oraz liczne siostrzenice i siostrzeńcy.

Zamiast kwiatów prosimy o rozważenie przekazania datku ku pamięci Gosi na rzecz szpitala Sunnybrook – Odette Cancer Centre.
