In memory of

Melissa Alexandra Temerty

April 8, 1970 -  July 2, 2022

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Melissa Alexandra Temerty. Melissa died peacefully in her family home, surrounded by her family, on Saturday July 2, 2022, at age 52. She will be forever loved and missed by her parents, Jim and Louise Temerty and her sister, Leah Temerty-Lord; her aunt Ludmilla Temertey and her cousins, Nicola Canta and Kalyna Temertey-Canta; her brother-in-law, Mike Lord and nephews, Dylan and Simon Lord; her dear friend, Murray MacLellan, and all her friends and extended family.

Melissa fought her battle with cancer with unfaltering courage, until the end.

The Temerty family would like to express their sincere gratitude to friends for their continued love and support over the past few months, as well as for the unwavering kindness of her doctors and caregivers.

A private family service has taken place.

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Melissa may be made to Make A Wish Canada, The Scott Mission, Nature Conservancy of Canada, or by having a tree planted in her memory through A Living Tribute.
