Luka was like the grandfather I never had. I grew up playing dominos, cards and spending time in Luka’s garage. When all the children from the neighbourhood got together and played in the court, Luka was always on high alert to make sure no children were getting hurt and everyone was getting along. One of my favourite things was running over to Luka giving him a big hug and he would have a nice cold coca-cola and a snack for me! He will be dearly missed in the community and he left a huge impact on a lot of people’s lives -especially mine. Luka was an amazing husband, father and grandfather.
My deepest condolences to the entire Sukara family.
Lucas was always available to help when we lived at 16 Boldermere. Whether I needed to borrow a ladder or was running late to get my kids from the bus, he was always there for us. He contributed to our street fireworks and didn’t mind when we tossed chocolate Easter eggs on his grass for the street Easter hunt. We will remember him as the kind , gentle man who was a good neighbour and a great friend. Rest in Peace Lucas from Julia and Stephane Charbonneau.
