It is with heavy hearts and great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Luisa Amanda Matamoros. Surrounded by the love of her family, Luisa Amanda, born September 20, 1929, passed away peacefully on January 25, 2024 at Sunnybrook Hospital. Predeceased by her son, Jairo Rene (1965-1985), she will be lovingly remembered by her daughters Rosario, Nydia, Ada Francis and Alma Nuria, son Luis Armando, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, friends and all those whose lives she impacted.
