After a tough battle, Louis passed away peacefully with his loved ones near.

Louis loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was never at a loss for words and had his own unique way with them. His energy filled a room and his good humour made people smile; he made friends wherever he went. Under his tough exterior was a gentle soul who would always have the back of those he considered friends or loved ones. He loved good food, a good workout and a good pair of running shoes! He had enormous pride and, to the very end, always gave a good fight. He will be sadly missed by his parents, Fany and Tom; his brother Steve and sister-in-law Cheryl; his niece and nephew, Natasha and Tommy and his numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends.

A special thank you to his team at the Wallace McCain Centre for Pancreatic Cancer at Princess Margaret Cancer Centre, and his good friend Zeus, who stayed in the ring with him throughout his toughest fight.
