I extend my most sincerest and heartfelt condolences to Lorne's family at the sad announcement of his passing. He was a genuine gentleman in every sense of the word. During the times and occasions our careers crossed, he was always there to offer advice and a steadying hand. A great role model, strong leader, and just a truly 'good guy'. I am a better person for having had the opportunity to have known and learned from him during my fire service.

Again, my deepest condolences to you all at this time.

Lovingly remembered for your ever present smile and kind heart. I will always treasure the summers my parents, siblings and I spent at your cottage - your generosity always provided us with a family vacation where one would not have otherwise been affordable for a growing family. And visiting you at the Fire Hall when we went to the C.N.E. each August as kids was equally as special. Your smile made all of us smile, Uncle Lorne, may you be reunited with all those who have passed before you. I truly believe that you and Aunt Madeline are two hearts reunited once again. God bless.
