August 22, 1931 - May 21, 2016

It is with great sadness that we announce our Mother’s passing on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at the age of 84. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Rena (Paul), Pat, Grace, Dave (Diane), Daphne (Elmore) and Andrew. Proud Grandma of Andrew, Cameron, Danielle, Jordon and Naomi. Predeceased by her parents and brothers and sisters. Lola was an exceptional gardener. The love and care that she dedicated to her garden will be forever reflected in every rose and peonie that blooms. Family and friends will be received at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & VISITATION CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229) on Friday, May 27th from 5-9 p.m. and on Saturday, May 28th at 10 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 11 a.m. Interment to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Peter’s, Carlton Anglican Church.

Lola was truly one of kind special lady. My mother remembers her as the beautiful, beauty lady...as she always said it...ya Daphne mama soooo beautiful I agree :) I miss her and always admired how she made parenting and housekeeping and working all seem so easy.
