Ljuba Al-Mijalli
November 14, 1971 - May 6, 2015
With much sorrow we announce the passing of Ljuba Al-Mijalli suddenly on May 6, 2015. Born on November 14, 1971 to her loving parents Ilija & Anica Vukovic. Mother to Marco and Luca Al-Mijalli. Beautiful wife of Jamal Al-Mijalli. Beloved daughter-in-law of Abbas Al-Mijalli and predeceased by her adored mother-in-law Hanan Al-Mijalli. Cherished sister to Vinka Vukovic, Angela Smith, Ante Vukovic, Leila Hood, Janan and Rick DiNola. Adored Teta to Matteo, Noah, Logan, Mason, Eli, Melissa and Riley. Predeceased by her precious nephew Mikey Vukovic.
Ljuba was born in Croatia and raised in the greater Vancouver area. She loved and laughed regularly and grew into the most beautiful woman both inside and out. She moved to Mississauga, Ontario where she married her love, Jamal. Ljuba and Jamal raised two amazing boys together and being a mother was her most treasured accomplishment. Ljuba was a remarkable mother and her boys could often be found close to her side snuggling up in her warm embrace. Ljuba was known as an extraordinary friend and adopted sister to many. She took great pride in the cherished friendships that she had cultivated over her 43 years. Ljuba was a proud and devoted long time employee of Primus.
Family & friends will gather at the Meadowvale Cemetery and Visitation Centre, 7732 Mavis Road, Brampton on Friday, May 8th from 5-9 p.m. for a celebration of her life. The funeral will be held on Saturday, May 9th from 8:30-9:30 a.m. prior to her final resting at the Meadowvale Cemetery.
