Linda Sun Heung Lee passed away peacefully in Scarborough on Monday, August 7, 2023 at the age of 87. She was born in southern China to George and Toy Yen Won. She is predeceased by her husband, Douglas Lee. Mother to Andrew (Annie), Timothy (Liz), Steven and Jennifer. Grandmother to Asia, Justin, Kaitlyn, Bethany and Rebecca. Sister to Mollie (Joe) and Gary, aunt to Jay and Jordan.

Linda emigrated to Canada in the early fifties, becoming a Canadian citizen on March 3, 1959. She lived in London, Ontario with her parents and siblings before marrying and moving to Scarborough to raise a family. Linda was a clerk at Bell Canada for 26 years before retiring. Throughout her working years, she tirelessly and with dedication raised her four children. She enjoyed her family, friends and people who were drawn to her gentle nature and easy smile. During her decades long battle with Parkinson’s, she was well cared for in the comfort of her own home by her caregivers, Lucena and, for the last eight years, Nerissa. Linda lived as best as possible under the circumstances with support from her family and, in particular, her sister, Mollie.
