In Loving Memory of Lidia

With love and sadness, we announce the passing of Lidia, who left us peacefully on November 20, 2025, knowing her family was safe and her sons had found their paths in life.

Her life was unique. Born during the Second World War, she learned strength, responsibility, and sacrifice at a young age.
She faced many hardships—moving across countries, beginning again and again. Yet each time, she rebuilt her life from scratch, proving that resilience can be quiet, graceful, and deeply human.

Her greatest pride was her children, and before she left this world, she rested knowing her sons were safe, settled, and walking their own paths with strength.

She will be remembered for her kindness, courage, and unwavering belief that no matter what life takes away, we can always begin again.

May she rest peacefully, knowing she left behind love, strength, and hope.

Lidia was such a kind and generous person, and me, my wife and my daughter, feel truly fortunate to have known her. Her absence will be deeply felt, but her memory will always stay with us. We will forever remember the beautiful quilt she lovingly handcrafted for our daughter — a gift made with so much care and heart, and one that she still uses every single day. It remains a reminder of her warmth, her talent, and the love she shared with those around her.
