In memory of

Leticia Cruz

November 13, 1927 -  April 17, 2020

Leticia Cruz passed away peace fully on April 17, 2020 at the age of 92. She will be fondly remembered by her brothers Junior, Roger, Fred, Ernesto and Bert.

Leticia got her bachelor's degree in Pharmacy in the Philippines and Council Bluffs in Iowa where she earned her Diploma in Medical Technology. She then worked as a Medical Technologist in Pennsylvania before moving back to work as a Laboratory Supervisor at St. Luke's Hopsital in Quezon City. She was also a faculty member at Centro Escolar University and Trinity College in their Medical Technology department. In 1977, Leticia immigrated to Canada and worked for Metro Medical Lab until she retired.

As the matriarch of her family, she felt a deep pride in the achievements of her nieces and nephews and known for her kind and generous spirit.

Her family is grateful to all of her caregivers who allowed her to remain at home as long as she did and to the caregivers at Providence Healthcare who added comfort in her final hours. At this time, a burial will take place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. For those wishing, donations can be pledged to Providence Healthcare Foundation:
