June 16, 1933 -  February 18, 2023

It is with great sorrow the family of Leonie Cabral announces her passing in her 90th year following declining health. Survived by daughter Debra Ann Brackenborough, her husband Bob and grandson Sean. Also she is survived by her son Jeffery, his wife Renata, granddaughters Victoria and Elizabeth alongside Victoria’s twin sons Connor and Clark. A dear sister of Lillian of Montreal. Predeceased by her siblings Robert, Carl, Ada, Mildred, Lavick and Cleive. She will be sadly missed by her family and her many nieces and nephews. Family and friends may call at Meadowvale Cemetery and Funeral Centre at 905-451-3716. The visitation will be held on Monday Feb 27th 2023 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm, followed by another visitation on Tuesday Feb. 28th at 1:00pm and Service at 2:00pm. The burial will take place at Meadowvale Cemetery followed by a reception. Donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke or Diabetes Foundation.

My sincere condolences for the loss of a wonderful mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, and great grandmother. Leonie was a wonderful person. She will be missed by everyone that knew her. God needed an angel, so he called Leonie to his side.Rest in peace Leonie, you will be in our hearts forever.
