In memory of

Leonard Joseph Mark Byford

November 24, 1958 -  February 10, 2022

On February 10th, 2022 we lost our Backyard loving, Story telling, TV watching, Harley riding, Habs fan.

Leonard grew up in Montreal, Quebec with his sisters Katherine, Shirley, Lenora, Beverly and his brother Richard. He fondly visited many friends and family whenever he was back in town.

Family was everything to Len and watching his son, Craig grow into an amazing Dad to his 2 beautiful daughters was his greatest joy. Len was a stepdad to Kelly and Jackie for more than 30 years and took pride in raising them to be kind and caring women. He loved watching his grandchildren reach for their goals and was looking forward to becoming a great Grandpa this coming July.

Summers were his favourite time of year because he got to spend his time cruising around on his Harley. He looked so forward to the weekends so he could enjoy his time with his riding friends, trips to the cottage, gathering around the pool and of course the many trips to Vermont.

Len will be sadly missed by his partner Cathy, his children, Kelly, Jackie and Craig and the very large extended family that loved him so much.

A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday May 7th, 2022 1:00pm
Bramalea Rangers Club
185 Advance Blvd.
Brampton, Ontario

Oh Len, I’m truly going to miss having you around. It was never a dull moment from your stories you told and all the laughs at the fires in the backyard. Your memories will live on and we know you’ll protect us down here. Until we meet again. Say Hi to everyone up there. We love and miss you lots.
