Laxmi Persaud – Has passed away in Ajax, Ontario on Sunday April 16th 2017 at the age of 55. Son of Narine and Lilowite Persaud from Enmore, Guyana. Husband of Indera Persaud from Mahica, Guyana and Father of Mahesh and Manesha Persaud. The footprint he left in this world will not soon be forgotten, from his training in Agriculture Mechanics at Port Moran Training School to his work as a shift supervisor at the Enmore Estate. After moving to Canada he became very involved in the Pickering Devi Mandir where he worked diligently to support his dharma. Working as a mechanic for many years he strived to be the best he can be which lead him to promotion after promotion to which he held the position of Manager of Bus Fleet Maintenance at Metrolinx upon his passing. He will be sadly missed by all.
