It is with great sadness that the family of Lauren Ng-A-Kien DeSouza announce her sudden passing on August 10, 2018 at Southlake Regional Health Centre in Newmarket.

She was a beloved daughter to the late Vivian and Clifton Ng-A-Kien. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother, a loyal sister and friend.

Lauren will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 45 years, Terrence, their children Danita (Jason), Tanya and Danielle, and their grandchild Calvin. She will be fondly remembered by her sisters and brother: Lana (Desmond), Diana (William), Marla (Robin), Corrine (Ian), and Clive (the late Gail), and her many nieces and nephews, extended family and dear friends.

A Funeral Mass in memory of Lauren will be held on Tuesday August 14 at 10:00 am at St. Isaac Jogues Church, 1148 Finch Ave., Pickering. Interment to follow at Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens. Reception at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre,1057 Brock Rd., Pickering.
