In Loving Memory of Lau Kum Wong

Passed away peacefully at Sunnybrook Hospital Palliative Care Unit at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Ah-Jin Chig; cherished father of Pui-Ying, Lui-Ying, Albert (Agnes), Della and Thomas (Cindy); loving grandfather of Patrick, Amanda (Curtis), Ronald and Natalie (Jason). Born in Shanghai, China, March 30, 1930. Moved to Guangdong Province with his father in his late teens, married the love of his life, Ah-Jin at the age of 19, and then later moved to Hong Kong.

He was a self-made man, in his twenties, he learned Cantonese, English, architectural drawings as an apprentice and established himself as an architectural draftsman, supporting his young family of five children till his retirement in 1991; and immigrated to Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Loved traveling, photography and gardening. He devoted his life to his family and was loved by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed and never to be forgotten by his family, many nieces, nephews and lifelong friends in Shanghai & Hong Kong.
