In memory of

Laszlo Miklos Csopak

December 5, 1952 -  May 16, 2023

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Laszlo (age 70) who passed unexpectedly in his home on May 16, 2023.

Laszlo was born in Hungary to Laszlo and Julianna Csopak. He grew up with his younger brother Alex (Sandor). At the age of 25, Laszlo moved to Canada. He later went on to meet Dora and they married in Colombia in 1990. Together they had 1 daughter, Julianna. Laszlo was a committed family man who always had a joke prepared, no matter the situation. He will be greatly missed by his wife Dora, daughter Julianna (Conor), parents Julianna and the late Laszlo, Alex, Elizabeth and Eszter (Adrian).

The family welcomes you to celebrate his life on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at York Cemetery & Funeral Centre at 2pm for visitation, 3pm for the memorial service followed by a reception at 4pm.

In lieu of flowers, we would ask that donations be made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada, a cause very close to his heart.

It is time to say good-bye to our very close friend, Laszlo Čsopak. We just want to say thank you Laszlo, Dora and little Julianna, (you were like 2 years old), for your warm welcome when we moved to Toronto in 1995 !
We have in our heart all the nice time ( 10 years) we shared with such a loving family. Birthdays, Christmas time, and get togethers in your place, in our place, or somewhere else.
I, Beatriz, will never forget when my dear parents and my sister Marina, went to Toronto to pay us a visit in 1997. Dora, Laszlo and Julianna behaved like three more of their children. They were so lovely and special...Thank you very much, my beloved friends !

After we settleld again in Colombia, we shared a nice time, when Dora and you, dear Julianna, came to our appartment in Bogota to pay us a visit. Laszlo didn't come to Bogotá beacuse of medical advice.

And in 2017 for summer time, in Budapest, it was the last time we shared with Dora and Laszlo. Juliannita, you had already moved to lreland. They were our guides in the beautiful Budapest. We were invited
to Laszlo's dear mom' s appartment. As always, we felt their warm welcome and their fiendly company during those days.
We have just to thank God for having given us such a gift. Dear Dora, Julianna and Conor, God will give the strenght necessary to overcome this hard proof.
Dear Laszlo, rest in peace. We are part of your family, and probably not before long we will see you again.
We love you.
