In memory of

Larry Ross McILvenny

November 11, 1954 -  November 2, 2021

Larry McILvenny passed away peacefully at Oshawa Hospital on November 2, 2021 in his 66th year. He is survived by his loving wife Maureen, and will be dearly missed by his son Jordan and wife Lacey, Christopher and Cindy, and daughter Brandi and husband Todd. Beloved grandfather to Aydan, Riley, Jonathan, Addison, Abigail, Myles and Ashley. Larry is predeceased by his daughter Jessica and parents Jack and Sadie.
Larry had a need for speed, a love of vintage vehicles, motorcycles and Nascar racing. Larry thrived in the outdoors, enjoying boating, sun tanning and a good fish fry. When time and health permitted, Larry was an avid traveler, enjoying memorable trips at the Indie 500, Disneyland, Vegas and many sun seeking cruises. Larry was known for his sharp blue eyes, passionate nature, and unforgettable laugh and will be missed by many. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choice.

We knew Larry years ago when we were all young "adults" with young children and loved camping. So many great years at Jack Lake and Red Eagle Campgrounds that will always be remembered. We even had an opportunity to connect one winter in Florida when we were all on vacation there. We still connect on Facebook with Brandi and Kathy and follow the (now) grown-up lives of Larry's children and grandchildren for which we are ever thankful. Our children remain friends to this day. The memories we have are bitter-sweet and yet, wonderful. Rest in Peace.

I am saddened to hear of the passing of Larry. He was my sales rep at Action Paper from my days at S.F. Always a happy guy when I spoke to him and always tried his hardest to get me the best deals. My heart goes out to the McIlvenny family. Such a sad loss. 😟
