It is with a heavy heart and great sadness we announce the passing of a wonderful mother, daughter and sister on Friday, April 9, 2021. Lan Ping passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loved ones at the age of 56.

Lan Ping was the devoted and loving mother of Carling, Janet and Carmen; beloved daughter of Nian Xiu; adored sister and sister-in-law of Jun Min (Jin Hong), Yi Min (Jing Jing) and Xian Min (Qiao Yan); and dear aunt of Yaping, Alex, Bill, Joey, Sam, Tim and Michelle. Lan Ping was predeceased by her father, Jing Yan Guo.

Lan Ping lived her life seeing the good in everyone and always wishing the best for those around her. She was selfless, generous and hardworking. She faced all her challenges with a positive attitude and strength seen in no other. She will be forever loved and remembered by her family and many friends.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, a larger memorial for Lan Ping will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lan Ping's memory to The Gerry & Nancy Pencer Brain Tumor Centre or Temmy Latner Centre for Palliative Care, found in the "Donations" tab above.

我們深感遺憾和悲痛地宣布，郭兰娉女士於2021年4月9日，在家人陪同下，在多倫多的家中，安祥離世。享年56歲。兰娉得她的女兒芷珮，芷珊，芷穎，其母親，弟，弟婦，侄子以及侄女 的支持下，多年來努力及勇敢地與腦癌對抗，但最終不敵， 與世長辭。

她是一位敬愛的母親，大姐，大表姐，姑姑，孝顺的女兒和許多人的好朋友。

兰娉一生盡心盡力照顧家庭。她心地善良， 勤勞節儉、敦親睦鄰。不畏一切辛勞為我們的家奠定美好的基礎。我們慶幸成為她的女兒，弟，弟婦，侄子以及侄女。我們很感激她為我們所做的一切 。

由於COVID-19的限制 ，我們將在往後的日子舉行一個追思會。
