With heartfelt sadness and gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the passing of our beloved mother and grandmother in her 97th year, with her 3 loving sons at her side during her final moments.

Laima was predeceased by her sister Dagmar Brastins and husband Valdis. She will be sadly missed by her sons Richard ( Marilyn ), Andris ( Linda ), Rolands ( Lois ) and her grandchildren Ashley, Adam, Erika and Katarina. Special thanks to those who assisted with Laima's care in the autumn of her life.

Funeral service will be held at York Funeral Centre, 160 Beecroft Road, Toronto, ( 416 ) 221-3404 on Friday, January 12, 2018. Visitation 1:00 p.m. and service 2:00pm with burial and reception to follow.
