In memory of

Kyriakos "Ken" Alexopoulos

July 16, 1983 -  March 28, 2022

There are no words that can describe the pain of losing our dear and only child Kyriakos (Ken). Our warrior son fought an epic battle against his brutal cancer but finally succumbed on Monday, March 28, 2022. We, his parents Theodore and Christine have lost not only our dear boy, but our future, our hope and our best friend. Many of you know of his crazy antics and we hope they make you smile. He was also a creative, soulful and compassionate man who most of the time would put himself down to raise someone else up. Many of his friends have posted how he helped them through tough times, how he would be the first to support them in adversity and how he touched their lives. He was handsome, intelligent and kind, though he could never see what we saw in him, he felt that if he wasn’t helping make someone’s life better, then he was nothing special. He leaves us- his parents, his heartbroken grandmother Georgina, his aunts Potoula and Peggy and his Uncles Peter and Harald. In addition he leaves behind a slew of aunts and uncles and cousins in Hamilton, the U.S. and Greece and his cousins John, Paul, James and George, and his “twin cousin” Deno- born two weeks before him. His Grandfathers Kyriakos and Konstantinos and his Grandmother Helen have embraced him in heaven. We will love you always Ken. Memory eternal.

My beautiful boy, my best friend- I wanted so much to take the sickness away. Who else can understand me now? Who can I watch strange Japanese game show with? I only hope that it’s true that we will meet again because that is all I have left to hope for now
