Kwock Yee “Lucky” Jung, 91 of Toronto, Ontario, passed away in his sleep on August 4, 2024, surrounded by family in Toronto.

He was born in Guangdong, China and came to Canada in 1950 to a small town called Port Arthur. He moved to Toronto in 1963 on a quant little street called Allen Ave which he called home for over the last 60-plus years.

He married Hing Gee in 1949, who survives him. He is also survived by his four daughters and son along with 12 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Kwock Yee was predeceased by his eldest son.

Kwock Yee was known for his passion for gardening and baseball. He could be seen walking around the neighbourhood wearing his blue jays cap year-round.

The private memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 9 a.m. at York Cemetery and Funeral Centre, burial to follow. The family asks that people make donations to the North York General Hospital or Baycrest Centre, in lieu of sending flowers.
