In memory of

Kuljit Dhinsa

April 16, 1980 -  August 13, 2022

Our beloved son, brother, uncle and friend Kuljit Dhinsa tragically passed away Saturday, August 13th, 2022.

Though his life was cut short, we remember all the light and love that he brought into our lives. His loyalty to his family and friends knew no bounds.

Kuljit had a larger-than-life personality. His kindness and generosity were unparalleled, leaving a lasting impression on the people in his life. Kuljit’s natural charisma drew people of all walks of life to him, and his stories, jokes, and attitude towards life ensured he made friends everywhere he went. He gave his unconditional love and trust to all without judgment and befriended anyone who crossed his path.

Kuljit had an unwavering love for life which was his guiding force to explore his passions in golfing, football, politics and spending time with his friends and family. His laughter echoes in our hearts and his kind soul will never be forgotten. We lovingly remember how much his relationships meant to him and how he touched the lives of so many without even realizing it.

We invite family and friends to join us for a celebration of life at the ELGIN MILLS FUNERAL CENTRE, 1591 Elgin Mills Road East, Richmond Hill (SE corner of Elgin Mills and Leslie) 905-737-1720 on Saturday, August 20, 2022 for a visitation starting from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, August 21, 2022 starting at 9:30 a.m. A link to the live web cast of the funeral service will be available at the top of the homepage on Sunday at 9 a.m.

Kuljit had a lifelong love of sports; growing up he played baseball, basketball, football, karate, and even umped for kids baseball games. He particularly loved to play sports with his nephews and nieces. To honour his passion, in lieu of flowers, please feel free to make a donation to the "KidSport Canada" charity. A link to donate can be found at the bottom of this page.

We have seen each other at least once a year for the past 25 plus years. We were supposed to meet on August 15 for the first time in 2022. I keep thinking about that every minute of my life now. Every time we met, we made sure that every minute together was well spent and where our afternoons would turn into unpredictable and unplanned nights. There will never be another Kuljeet Dhinsa. I will forever miss and love you brother.

Kuljit, you will always be my little brother. You have taken me from just being a husband to your sister to being the older brother you looked up to. I will always be here for you and will always have your back. The amount of love and respect you showed me was so unconditional, infinite and from your heart. I will never forget that. I will always be your older brother and always love you. Love Parm and rest in peace.
