In memory of

Krista Lynn White

August 30, 1969 -  October 15, 2021

Krista Lynn White, 53, of Toronto, beloved wife, mother, sister and friend passed away suddenly at home on Friday, October 15, 2021. Born in Ste. Adele, Quebec to Donna Lynn Murray and Kenneth Allan White (both deceased).

Growing up in Ottawa Krista attended Hillcrest High School (class of ‘86) before moving on to University in Kingston. A proud Queens Alumni (BComm ’90), Krista then went on to become a Chartered Accountant at Ernst & Young before moving to BMO, where she worked for the past 20 years in various roles.

Krista is survived by her husband of 25 years, Gregory Brian Souter; her children Alison Erin Souter and Brendan Murray Souter all of Toronto; her sister Stacey Eileen White and brother-in-law Antony James Cutlan of London, UK; in-laws Betty-Lou and Ken Souter of St. Catharines; aunts and cousins; and countless dear friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, November 5th at 2:00pm. Due to ongoing Covid restrictions, this will be by invitation only. Friends are welcome to join the family afterwards at Safari at 1749 Avenue Road in Toronto.

Krista had a passion for baseball, from Expos games in Montreal as a child to avidly supporting the Toronto Blue Jays through pennant races, World Series Championships, bat flips, and the lean years too. She loved sports and she loved life.

To honour her memory the Krista White Memorial Fund has been established which will give children who could otherwise not attend the chance to enjoy Blue Jays games, experience theatre productions or concerts. In lieu of flowers, donations to the fund would be appreciated by the family.

Krista was so capable, smart and helpful. She had a great sense of humor and will be missed at BMO. It was a pleasure working with her and learning from her. May Krista rest in peace.
