It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gus (Kocho) Taskas. Gus was born on April 23, 1949, in the city of Kelli Florina Greece. After a courageous battle with cancer, Gus passed away peacefully at home on September 13th 2024, surrounded by family. Gus was the youngest of 5 children, Johnny, Jimmy, Maria, and Angelo. Gus is predeceased by his father Pavle, mother Sofa, brothers Jimmy, Johnny, sister Mara, his nieces Soula, Mary and sister in-law Lena. Gus leaves behind his two children, Paul, Maria, his three grandchildren, Lucas, Anthony, Emelius, and his brother Angelo Taskas and many nieces and nephews. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends. May his memory be eternal and be forever in our hearts and may he rest in peace.
