September 4, 1946 - January 27, 2021

The family of Kit Kim Clara Chung are deeply saddened to announce her passing on January 27, 2021. She was the beloved wife of Jimmy Chung; loving mother of Judy (Henry Mah), Jenny (Wilson Hom) and Teddy (Noreen Teo); proud grandmother of Emilie, Dylan, Brandon, Meghan, Noah, Alex, Isabelle and Olivia. She will also be dearly missed by her siblings, extended family, and by many friends.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, only immediate family members will be attending the funeral. The ceremony will be livestreamed for public viewing on Friday, February 5, 2021 at 2:30 pm. Please see link to the webcast at the top of this memorial webpage starting at 2 pm. A recording of the service will also be available afterwards for viewing on the media tab-videos.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Markham Stouffville Hospital foundation. A link to the charity will be found on the donations tab.

Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure

Our mom was a shining star. Everywhere she went she made friends. She would have loved to invite the entire world to share a cup of tea. She believed in the celebration of life and happiness. She was always trying new things and encouraged others to step out of their comfort zone to do something different. Her favorite things were spending time with her family and her friends, singing and dancing, reading books and eating delicious foods. Her hugs were the best, she always held you for that extra second so you could feel her love in her hugs. Mom you will be missed. It is not goodbye but just a time away until we meet again. Love you.

The memories I have of being in your mom's presence will always be dear to me. She was such a generous and kind woman; and a dear friend to our family who will be sincerely missed. I will miss her smile and her laughter, but her legacy will live on in our hearts.
