In memory of

King Fong Tam

September 15, 1927 -  October 21, 2017

KING FONG TAM (NEE WONG)
King Fong Tam passed peacefully in her home on October 21, 2017. Beloved wife of over 55 years to the late Jock Gung Tam. Loving mother to Jason, Leely (Bill), James (Cindy), John, and Jordan. Doting grandmother to Stacey (Ricky) and Ben, Melody (Marvin) and Kenny, Christian and Victoria, and Kay, David (a.k.a. Jupe), and Jeremy, and great-grandmother to Jaden, Zachary, Lucas and Logan. Sister to the late Wilfred (Suy Woo), Helen (the late Ben), and Gilbert (Lily). Born on the 28th day of the 9th month of 1927 of the lunar calendar, King Fong began her life in rural China before immigrating to Canada after a short time in Hong Kong. Here in Toronto she made a home for her family, working and raising her children and grandchildren in her no-nonsense way. A feisty character, she touched many in her ninety years and brought joy and laughter into so many lives. We will miss you dearly.
