Kevin Kelly

September 24, 1959 - September 13, 2018

Kevin was born in Saint John, New Brunswick to Peggy and Jim Kelly. He died unexpectedly of a heart attack at the age of 58 on his boat in Good Harbour, Georgian Bay. Loving husband of Maia and beloved father of Krista and Heili. Cherished by his five older siblings: Morganna, John, Michael, Beth and Jane. When he was not on his boat with his family, he was on the golf course. He was a spirited entrepreneur, made everyone laugh and cared deeply for those he loved. Gone too soon, he will be missed by many. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cystic Fibrosis of Canada in support of his nephew.

I’m deeply shocked and sad to hear of Kevin’s sudden passing. He was a funny guy and very devoted to his family. He gave me good advice re my family, and I will never forget how kind he was to my 2 boys when they came to visit me at the store where I worked for Kevin. I shared some great laughs with him and my thoughts go out to Maia and his beautiful daughters and extended family.

I am really fortunate to have met Kevin and been a friend of his for the past 6 years. He will be gravely missed by everyone who has known him and it won’t be the same on the Georgian Bay without him!!

I am very sad to hear of Kevin's passing. Those that knew him will miss his sense of humour and generosity. He loved his family, boating and golf. We will miss him.
