In memory of

Kevin "Kev" "Fevin" Barclay Eldon

December 31, 1955 -  September 7, 2025

With heavy hearts, we share the sudden passing of Kevin “Kev” “Fevin” Barclay Eldon on September 7, 2025, at the age of 69. This year would have marked his 70th birthday. In a touching twist of fate, Kevin left this world on the very same day as his beloved mother, Ada, many years before.

Kevin will be deeply missed by his children, Jason Eldon and Ashley Eldon (Glen Vales). He was a proud brother to Gerry Eldon and Desi Eldon, and is predeceased by his parents, Bob and Ada Eldon, as well as his brothers Tom Eldon and Brian Eldon.

Kevin grew up in Toronto and, a few years ago, followed his dream of living by the water on Pigeon Lake. Though he had only recently moved to Bobcaygeon, he quickly became a familiar face. With his warm smile and easy charm, he lit up every room he walked into and made friends everywhere he went.

A true entrepreneur at heart, Kevin ran his own computer consulting business and was still hard at work, always keeping busy and sharp. Outside of work, he found his greatest peace on the water. Whether spending time on his houseboat, sitting on the back deck watching the lake, or taking the pontoon boat out for a ride, Kevin’s happiest moments were often by the shore. He also loved the simple joys of life—browsing Facebook Marketplace for treasures and caring for the animals who brought him so much love. Boxers, in particular, were always at the heart of his life, companions who stayed with him through the years.

Kevin also had a lifelong love of hockey. A loyal Leafs fan, he spent years both playing and coaching his kids, passing along his passion for the game and creating memories on and off the ice. Another of his joys was collecting and restoring old pinball machines, always on the lookout for his next find. His pride and joy included his cherished 1968 Corvette and 1975 Firebird, which he still owned and admired.

Music was another of Kevin’s great loves. He cherished “jamming” with his buddies, often playing guitar and harmonica with the same joy he brought to every part of his life. Those moments of music and laughter will remain treasured memories for all who joined him.

Kevin was a man of quiet strength, with a big heart and a deep love for family, music, hockey, nature, and the little things that made life meaningful. He leaves behind countless memories that will be cherished forever by those who knew and loved him.

Family and friends are invited to gather at York Funeral Centre, 160 Beecroft Road, North York, ON, on Sept 14 to celebrate his life. Viewing will be held at 11:00 a.m., with the service at 12:00 p.m. and reception to follow.

Though gone too soon, Kevin’s spirit will live on in the waves of the lake, the roar of a hockey crowd, the strum of a guitar, the wag of a dog’s tail, and the love of his family.

Kevin was a great guy. In the earlier years when his twins were small, he enjoyed them. Kevin was a good son-in-law. Kevin will be missed by a lot of people . When sickness hit Kevin, he had a lot of suffering. He is now free of pain. R.I.P. GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN.
