In memory of

Kenneth Edward Daly

It is with great sadness we announce the passing on Kenneth. He passed away peacefully in his 81st year at Markham Stouffville Hospital on May 27th. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Carol of 58 years as well as his children Lisa (Garth) and Kevin, his brother Gordon, grandchildren Ben, Amanda, Sarah, Noah, Matthew (Erin), Christopher and great grandson Hunter. He will also be sadly missed by his companion of 10 years “Chubbs”, his faithful labradoodle.

Ken was the proud owner and operator of Business Forms Associates, now operating at The BFA Group for over 50 years. He was involved in the Toronto printing business servicing both automotive dealerships and insurance brokers. He will be sadly missed by many of his long time customers and suppliers.

Friends can call between 1:00 pm and 2:00 pm on Wednesday June 1st for visitation at Elgin Mills Funeral Centres – 1591 Elgin Mills Road E., Richmond Hill. A celebration of life ceremony will be held right afterwards at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers a donation can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

You can shed tears that Ken is gone,
Or smile because he has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that he will come back,
Or you can open your eyes and see all that he has left.

Your heart can be empty because you can't see him,
Or you can be full of the love that you shared.
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday,
Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday.

You can remember him and only that he is gone.
Or you can cherish his memory and let it live on.

You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back,
Or you can do what he would want,
Open your eyes, love and go on.

I was very happy to have had a wonderful conversation with Ken at his birthday party, and share a lot of memories. He will be sadly missed by all. Helen

My heart and my head are sad to know that one of my 'other Dads' is no longer with us. The memories a long time ago have been coming back, there were so many good ones. As long as we remember, Dad will always be with us.
