In memory of

Kenneth Charles Lyon

January 31, 1936 -  April 11, 2023

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kenneth Charles Lyon, on Tuesday April 11th, 2023, at the age of 87.
Ken was the beloved husband of the late Hazel Lyon; much loved son-in-law of Helen Noble; adored father of Heather Murphy (Kevin) and Katherine Brugel; loving brother of Paul Lyon. Predeceased by his parents Charles and Grace Lyon, and his sister Nina Wyatt. He also leaves voids in the hearts of many friends and extended family members.
In addition to his immense kindness, Ken exuded intelligence, humour, and creativity, as well as an athletic ability that was demonstrated in every sport he undertook. He loved his critters; a dog and numerous cats throughout the years, and would have emptied the shelters to provide a loving home to every animal, if only he could have.

Friends may call at PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, 625 Birchmount Rd., Scarborough (north of St. Clair Ave. E., 416-267-8229) on Saturday April 22, 2023 for Visitation from 10:00am - 11:00am . Funeral Service to follow at 11:00am. Burial to follow within Pine Hills Cemetery. If desired donations to the Toronto Humane Society would be appreciated.

Dear Katherine and Heather, et al:
Please accept my sincerest condolences on the passing of you dad. While I didn't know him growing up, it is plain to see how much he meant to you both and the amount of time and effort you took to show him your love, especially these last few challenging years. May he RIP, and may you take solace in knowing he is with your mom now. Respectfully, Paul Endlicher
