In memory of

Ken (Knud) Jensen

January 7, 1936 -  October 29, 2022

Ken (Knud) Jensen passed away on October 29, 2022 at the age of 86 at Lakeridge Health in Ajax, Ontario after a lengthy illness. Ken will be lovingly remembered by his children, Yvonne and Robin, his grandchild, Emma, as well as some of his closest lifelong friends, Allan & Bente, Brian & Julia, Anita & Susanne Westermann and his friend from the faroes, Jacob. He was also loved and will be dearly missed by his sister, Sonja and all of his family in Denmark and in Sweden, as well as his brother, Harold in the U.S. He was loved very much by his 1st late wife, Amy who was also his best friend from the tender age of 16.

Ken was a very loving and caring dad and papa. He accomplished so much during his lifetime. Coming from Denmark to Canada and starting his own Trailer business (Jensen’s Trailer Ltd) for 30 years. This was his pride and joy. He also loved flying and was extremely proud when he acquired his solo license, which he worked so hard for. He was a huge animal lover, and adored his cat, Milo beyond words…that was his buddy.

He was a very organized man, who loved and cared for his home with great pride and passion. He had the talent to fix basically anything inside and outside of the home. From making a rocking horse for his grandchild when she was little to fixing minor and major repairs around the house and garden. He was a good, kind and loving husband, father, papa, brother and uncle and was loved by so many here in Canada as well as in Denmark.

As he would often jokingly say to his daughter, “I am here and you are there”. Well, now he is In ALL of our hearts forever!

He will be loved and missed every day. Gone but never forgotten. ❤

Love you Dad always and forever….Yvonne

As per his wishes, a small and intimate ‘Celebration of Life’ for Ken will take place soon.

I didn’t have the opportunity to know Ken well but any father who treated his daughter the way he did deserves to be remembered in the best of ways.

Ken always treated me with respect and kindness. I was always welcome in his home and was loved like family. A home away from home. Ken you will be forever remembered.
