In memory of

Kathleen Cosgrove

June 19, 1934 -  August 5, 2024

It is with sadness we announce the passing of Kathleen Doreen Geneva Cosgrove on August 5, 2024, at the age of 90. Kathleen was born in the small town of Morden, Manitoba, where she cultivated the strong values of dedication, kindness, and service that would define her life.

Kathleen had a long career in the pharmaceutical industry, where she was known for her dedication and high standards. After retiring, Kathleen continued to give back to her community by dedicating her time to tutoring children in reading at the local library. She believed strongly in the power of education and literacy and touched the lives of many young people with her patience and encouragement.

Kathleen's memory will live on through her sons Carew (Dana), Kevin (Mary), Mark (Monica) and Sean (Eraflor). She was a cherished grandmother to Michael, Matthew, Marcus, Jesse, Jenny, Halina and Mark Vincent. She leaves behind a legacy of love, wisdom, and strength.

Kathleen will be remembered for her hardworking nature, boundless compassion, and the immense love she shared with those close to her. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Mom,
Your sincere warmth, empathy and quiet wisdom have always inspired us and what was best for your family. You withheld judgement or opinion, while being both compassionate and discrete in your unbiased relationships with friends, family and others encountered during your life. Mom's most extraordinary gift was making anyone who talked to her feel that what they said was important, interesting and special; thereby making them feel that they mattered as a person. While saddened by her sudden departure and the love lost, we are elated and fortunate to have had such a unique and inspirational person in our lives. We count our blessings and will always love and honour your memory. Rest in peace our beloved Mom.

We are very saddened by the passing of our Mom, mother in law, and Grandma to our children Jesse and Jenny.

Although we did not have close contact with her these past several years, we were grateful that Mom was able to maintain her independence as was her desire.

We will be thinking of Kevin, Mark, Sean, and their families at the memorial service and in the coming days, weeks and months.
