Passed away surrounded with love on Saturday, January 20th at Bridgepoint Healthcare. Beloved sister of Stan (Sandy) and Betty (Vito). Loving aunt of Micheal and Nikki. Kathy will be fondly remembered by many family and friends. Predeceased by her parents Dimitrios and Nicoletta. Kathy’s family wishes to extend sincere thanks for the compassionate care by the doctors and attendants at Bridgepoint Healthcare. Visitation at the PINE HILLS CEMETERY & FUNERAL CENTRE, (625 Birchmount Rd.) on Friday, January 26th from 5-9 p.m. Funeral Service on Sat. January 27th at 1 p.m. with visitation one hour prior. Interment to follow.

We have been friends for many years. Met on Trinnell in scarboro where we all lived. Been through a lot over the years, and we have supported each other through so much. Even though I'm not there physically I am with you in spirit always. I an soo sorry I could not be there to support you all today at this very tough time. Deaths are not easy for anyone we never want to say goodbye to our loved ones. Even though you will miss Kathy and it was hard to let go, sometimes there is a feeling of relief and peace and I'm sure that is among your feelings today. Relief that Kathy isn't in pain anymore and relief that Kathy is finally at peace and has been reunited with your parents. Someday we all will be reunited with our loved ones, but until that day we will continue to support and help on another. Love you all Shelley Garbutt and Ralph Spurrell.
