It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Karen Rebecca Jensen on December 31, 2022 at the age of 44. She was the beloved daughter of Johannes and Avril, and dear sister to Rachael and her partner Geoff. She will also be remembered by her aunts, uncles and many cousins in England and Denmark.

Karen was a teacher with TDSB who loved working with children. She had a great sense of humour and was a very kind and thoughtful friend to many. She kept track of the special occasions of everyone she knew and always sent a card or message to acknowledge it.

She was dealing with difficult medical issues but always tried to smile her way through it and never complained.

Karen has gone to heaven to no doubt continue teaching elementary school age children. Like all of her students, they will love her.

We will remember, with much love, the happy times we spent together.

A memorial service will be held at the Danish Lutheran Church of Toronto at 72 Finch Avenue West, North York, Ontario, M2N 2H4 on Saturday, January 14, 2022 at 11 a.m.
