Passed away at Lakeridge Health – Oshawa on Saturday, June 9, 2018 after a short battle with cancer. Beloved Daughter of James Legood. Loving mother of Jason (Erin) and late son Cory. Much Loved grandmother of Liam, Luke and Adam. Karen will be lovingly remembered by her sisters and brothers Randy, Rick, Donna, Debbie, Kelly, Suzanne and Heather and sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends. A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 3 pm to 5 pm followed by a celebration of life and reception at THORNTON FUNERAL CENTRE, 1200 Thornton Road North, Oshawa, 905-579-6787.

Sadly I haven't seen Karen since our MACI reunion in 2000. Our reunion photo popped up last week as a memory and that prompted me to think fondly of Karen and her lovely locks of hair. Little did I know she was sick...such a shock. Rest in peace dear Karen.
