Celebrating the life of a loving & supportive mother, grandmother & great-grandmother who had faith in her Lord & stood by her family through thick and thin.

Karuna “Kirin” Rahim Bakhsh of Brampton (Lahore / Quetta), born September 01, 1925, aged 93, peacefully breathed her last at 7:40pm, Sunday July 14, surrounded by her family including great grandchildren.

Survivor of the devastating 1935 earthquake in Quetta, her home town, where over 30,000 people perished that night in a matter of one minute and a widow at age 39 with five minor children, all under 18 years of age, she battled life's challenges with dignity, grace & courage.

She will be missed dearly by her three of five surviving sons; Farooq (2013), Javaid (Jim), Irfan (Ike), Haroon (2013), and Imran (Lucky); their spouses Hazel nee Dean, Neelum nee Massey and Kimberly nee Engel, Noreen wife of Farooq (late); nine grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; and her Northern Telecom colleagues of well over a decade.

She has been an inspiration to many, in more ways than one, Good bye and God bless you.
