In memory of

Kareen Angela Hall

November 11, 1964 -  August 23, 2025

Kareen Angela Hall passed away on Saturday, August 23, 2025, after a brief but courageous fight with cancer.

Born on November 11, 1964, in Montego Bay, Jamaica, Kareen was the beloved daughter of Sadie and Norman Hall. From an early age, she was deeply passionate about learning and had dreams of becoming a doctor. That passion guided her throughout her life and ultimately led her to earn a Master’s degree in Health Care Administration and pursuit of her PhD.

Kareen was a woman of unwavering faith. A devoted believer in Christ, her spiritual strength carried her through life’s challenges and remained steadfast until the very end.

She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, church brethren, and the many colleagues, boards, and organizations she faithfully served.

May her soul rest in peace.

Kareen and I have been friends for a long time. The last time I saw her we had dinner with her mother also. I admired her for her kind heart and her Christian faith. I will miss her bubbly personality.

I would like to offer my condolences to Kareen's friends and family for their loss and heartfelt support during this difficult time. Kareen was a beautiful person with a remarkable soul. I was lucky enough to work with her at Mohawk College where she built and delivered several courses for the digital health degree program. Always quick witted, and the first to offer to lend a hand, Kareen was a valued member of the staff and community, and her insights into healthcare and patient care were deeply valued by her students and colleagues.

Kareen was a pleasant, hardworking, detailed-oriented individual with strong faith in Christ and a client.

May her soul find eternal rest and the lord grant her family, friends, loved ones and colleagues the fortitude to bear this great loss.
