In memory of

Justina Bor

February 12, 1936 -  April 12, 2021

It is with great sadness that the family of Justina (Juci/Julie) Bor announce her passing on April 12, 2021 at the age of 85.

Predeceased by her beloved husband Lajos (d. 2003). Cherished mother of Julia Arbanas (Thomas) and Clara Bor (Gabor Schultz). She is dearly loved and will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Carolyn, Matyas and Emilia. Will be sadly missed by relatives and friends in Canada, Hungary, Serbia, Sweden, Australia and the United States. Justina’s loyalty, love, and strength will live on through her family, many friends, and anyone who ever had the privilege of knowing her.

Justina was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She thought the world of her grandchildren and was very proud and supportive of them always. She loved spending time in the kitchen, creating delicious meals and desserts for her family and friends. A skilled seamstress and passionate about gardening, she fostered in all of us an appreciation of creativity and beauty. Selfless and thoughtful, she never forgot Birthdays and Anniversaries, always taking time to send good wishes to family and friends, living near and far. In her retirement years, she enjoyed spending time at the cottage and visiting Hungary. The family wishes to thank Dr. Chopra, the nurses and staff at Dorothy Ley Hospice for their kindness and compassionate care.

Your love was a blessing, your memory a treasure, you are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.

Respecting the current situation and pandemic restrictions, we will hold a memorial mass and celebrate her life at a future date when it is safe to do so.

In memory of Justina and in lieu of flowers, donations to the Dorothy Ley Hospice or to the St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church would be appreciated by the family. Please click on the "Donations" tab to donate online.

Julia and Tom;
Please accept my condolences on the passing of your mother and mother-in-law and grandmother. I know it is difficult to lose your parents and even more difficult in these tenuous times. Celebrate her life, think of her often and remember her in your prayers.
God Bless!
Lew
